Community Supported Fishery
What is a CSF?
Share in our Harvest
New Hampshire Community Seafood is a cooperative of fishermen and consumers who have joined together to protect New Hampshire’s fishing industry and support the local economy. Nearly all (approximately 98 percent) of the fish we land in New Hampshire leaves the Seacoast to be processed and shipped to other states or overseas. We’d rather sell it directly to you! Our 2017 CSF Season will start in April and will go until late December! We will have options: 2- 15 week or 8-week Sessions, the first session is Spring/Summer and the second session is Fall, while our Holiday Seafood Medley Session takes place during the month of December. When you become a member of our Community Supported Fishery (CSF), you get a weekly share of delicious, wild caught fish and optional "Add-on" choices like fresh local scallops, oysters and lobster.
We offer familiar favorites like Haddock, Cod and Pollock, as well as other "under-utilized" local species, like Redfish, Monkfish, Hake, and a variety of Flounders. King Whiting and Dogfish (Cape) Shark are also a local delicacy. Most of these fish are white flaky fish much like Cod or Haddock. All fish shares are in fillet form.
A CSF is like a CSA farm share, but for seafood. When you buy a share, you’re not only getting the freshest possible fish and seafood, you’re supporting a cooperative that helps New Hampshire’s fisheries, guarantees fisherman a fair price, and keeps money within our local economy.
