It's Week 13 of our Fall Session, we will go for 16 weeks, until the end of November.

Our Holiday Seafood Session will be enabled within the next few days for sign ups, this runs for the month of December and includes one seasonal NH seafood each week, including a premium fish species and shellfish!

Don't miss the NH Food Solutions Forum tomorrow! At UNH, in the Granite State Room, at the Memorial Union Building from 10am-1pm! NH Community Seafood will be there and so will David Goethel, our fisherman and advocate from Hampton, NH.

The Catch of the Week is White Hake from F/V Witchcraft, out of Rye, NH.

Next week is a Shellfish week, Oysters from Little Bay, NH, courtesy of our friends at Virgin Oyster Company, are on the menu! Orders open for Shellfish on Wednesdays, the week before delivery. Look for your email!

 

CATCH OF THE WEEK

The Catch of the Week is White Hake. White Hake is a benthic fish species typically found in Atlantic Ocean from Cape Hatteras to southern Labrador and are primarily caught using gillnets by our NH Fishermen.

They are cousins to the Whiting and Red Hake and sustainably caught throughout the Gulf of Maine.

COOKING HAKE

White hake are delicious because they primarily eat small crustaceans like lobsters and crabs and shrimp! What a bonus for us! Their flesh has a thick, white meaty consistency and cooks up nicely.  SHELLFISH SHARES


Next week's Shellfish Share will be Oysters from Little Bay, NH courtesy of our Oyster Farmer Friends at Virgin Oyster Company, Dover, NH.

Oysters come live in bags of 1 dozen, for $18/dozen, a Members only price. Discounted bulk bags of 4 dozen for $70!

 

RESTAURANT SUPPORTED FISHERY

We have a growing Restaurant Supported Fishery (RSF), where Chefs and Retailers order fish through us, directly from our Fishermen. They are able to give customers local Catch of the Week Fish, the Captain and Boat name and the day the fish was landed! Check it out here on our website and visit one of our many Restaurants and Retailers that support serving locally sourced Fish!

We work with Three River Farmers Alliance to reach a wide variety of Restaurants, Retailers and Institutions for our RSF program.

 

HOW TO HOLD YOUR SHARE/CHANGE PICK UP

We offer a flexible "hold system" for weeks you will be away or do not care for the Catch of the Week selection. You can Hold and Double your share for a week here. Instructions are provided. Email us if you need assistance!

You can also do a Temporary Pick up location change at the same site. Just select this from the drop down menu and choose your Pick up location change for the week. We have 22 Pickups to choose from here

Each week, we offer the opportunity for Members to order extra Catch of the Week fish and/or extra Haddock. 

Get your Additional Haddock or White Hake, order here, please order by tonight at 12pm!

Orders are available in 1lb bags and discounted on all orders over 2 lbs!
